Problems
Existing business travel apps suffer from several key problems:

Current business travel apps fail to provide a comprehensive and practical information hub, making it challenging for users to organize and access their trip-related documents efficiently.
Connectivity and Communication Issues:
Many existing apps lack robust features for seamless connectivity and effective communication, which are vital for business travelers to stay connected with their teams and clients while on the road.
Flight-Related Problems:
Flight issues such as delays, cancellations, and lost luggage are common concerns for business travelers. However, existing apps often do not adequately address these problems or provide efficient solutions.

An effective information architecture for SmartTrip would involve:

Keeping Users in mind, I created the user’s behavioral flow from content discovery to topical playlist creation with TripSmart integrated in his behavioral decision making. These flows helped in defining the necessary features required for users to successfully navigate through the app.
By narrowing the features necessary for SmartTrip to function through Scenario map, I then created a site map to organize the pages, information, and navigation of the app.

Through the scenario map, I identified the different types of information relevant to business trips, such as flights, accommodations, schedules, and communication details. These categories will form the basis for organizing the information within the app.
